Preparation: Save your data on the hard disk and note the file
name(s) that you want to transfer. This method of data transfer will work
while you are in the CHARM program and acquiring data. You do not need to
exit the program to move your data to the Macintosh.
1) Open FILTRN on the Macintosh computer:
Open the FILTRN window in the following order.
Click on the Open Port Button. (the modem port should be on)
2) From the QE-300 Console:
Type: SE
Type: If it asks for the "baud rate" enter 19200 <return>
Type: Type the full file name including the three place extension.
You must IMPORT the file into MacFID 1D ver. 5.4. I have a copy of this program available for general distribution.
For a clear printout of the spectrum from MacFID 1D be sure to change the print option from gray scale to black and white. This will give solid lines instead of dashed.
2) Select APPLESHARE in the box.
3) Choose the appropriate Apple Talk zone.
4) Login:
5) Move the file by Drag and Drop.
